 FAQs

  • Answer:
Both! I offer hand-painted original watercolor pieces, as well as high-quality archival prints of selected works. Each print is hand-signed, and many are available framed or matted.

  • Answer:
All pieces are carefully packaged with protective materials. Framed items ship ready to hang. Matted prints and cards are sealed in protective sleeves and backed with firm board. I ship through USPS with tracking provided.

  • Answer:
Yes! Donations help fund the development of inclusive children’s books, free family resources, and the ongoing creation of meaningful art. You can support directly here.

  • Answer:
All watercolor artwork is created by me, Kate Powers. My son, John—a 16-year-old astrophotographer—captures and edits all space photography prints available in the shop. We are a creative, neurodivergent family working together to offer beauty and support.

  • Answer:
I'm currently developing the Little Dragon picture book series and a range of downloadable tools for neurodivergent families and educators—visual supports, scripts for hard moments, and emotional regulation tools.

  • Answer:
I accept a limited number of commissions for custom paintings or educational visuals. Please contact me with your request and I’ll let you know current availability.

  • What does “neurodivergent-affirming” mean?

    Answer:
It means honoring and supporting the natural variations in how brains work—including autism, ADHD, and other neurotypes. My work centers on compassion, co-regulation, and practical tools that meet people where they are—without shame, pressure to mask, or outdated behavior models.

  • Answer:
Little Dragon is a picture book series I’m developing to support social-emotional learning in young children—especially those who are neurodivergent. It’s gentle, inclusive, and designed to help kids and caregivers navigate big feelings, mistakes, and connection.

  • Answer:
Yes! My writing and tools are meant to support both experienced and new families, educators, and allies. I aim to explain complex ideas in a compassionate, accessible way—with art, visuals, and real-life stories leading the way.
